Suriname is a great place to visit. With tons of outdoor activities to partake in, there is always something fun to do. There is an abundance of water sports to be played along the beaches and coasts, snorkeling, jetskiing, water skiing, boating, etc. The tropical rainforest allows for plenty of exploring and hiking, as well.
There is an 18 hole golf course conveniently located just outside of Paramaribo, on the same road as the airport.
Temperatures in Suriname range from 21 to 32 degrees Celsius. It is best to avoid the two rainy season, December to January and April to July. There is no need to worry about hurricanes in Suriname, but sibibusis are common, heavy rain showers.

FORE! Lee Westwood ball ends up in a woman's shirt !!!
Lee Westwood hooked his drive on the 13th hole into a crowd of folks at the Ritz Charlton Golf Course as a part of the Accenture Match Play Championship.
This is maybe not news but where the ball landed is incredible..... The ball somehow made it's way into a woman's shirt as seen in the video below.
What would have been funnier is if the lady would have taken a run towards the green and dropped the ball there or even dropped it in the hole :)
